April 26th, 2011 Update Boy, am I behind or what? Last night I saw that it had been almost a year since I updated this post, or any other on my site. Will try and get this done on a weekly basis from now through summer... we will see!!!! So, what's new? The Fogel Underground Comix Price Guide Supplement has now sold over 3/4th's of it's print run. Meaning there are less than 300 copies left. You can still order them here and I will also be running them on Ebay again starting this week. Speaking of Ebay, how do you sellers like the new fee schedule that includes shipping in the final value fees? Are they nuts? Will Ebay survive? I will be Ebaying all the comix currently in my office, just to clear some space, over the next couple of months and hope to have about 50 comix a week listed for sale. Plus, will try and get another 800 or so comix posted on my website by the end of summer. In May Kimba and I set up at the Emerald City Comic Con again and wish to thank all those that came buy and saw us to buy something or to chat. We love seeing you. Sorry to say, due to drastic increases in the pricing of tables last year and this coming season we may not be at the 2011' ECCC unless we can work out something cheaper. It may mean leaving Kimba behind, and she loves to watch all the costumed people go by, and having only 1 table instead of 2. Time will tell but it does not look good. The show is becoming too commercialized and they are gouging the sellers while the gouging is good. So, who reads all this stuff? From high class to low brow, underground comix will take you on an Alice in Wonderland journey into the void of Western progress and the social ills – greed, loss of individuality, stress, drug abuse, divorce, loss of spirituality, etc., and beyond. To the drug induced high jinx of hip cats and sex crazed Martians. So, step on in, look around and if you’re not afraid to laugh at seeing a little something of yourself or someone you know, or if you just need a good laugh, then go ahead and order some of our comix. For those of you that already know and love undergrounds – have a seat and browse around. Hopefully we have something you don’t have and can’t live without.
